In these crazy days, life has been put on hold, indefinitely. Though we have plenty of food to keep us going for quite some time, and yes, I can make just about anything, we also feel it is important to keep the businesses open and operating as much as possible too. Because we want to help our local businesses, we decided it was a pizza night. It’s not much, but at least it is something. We should all support our local businesses as much as possible in these tough, chaotic times. They need us more than ever right now.
A Jeanne in the Kitchen 
That is a great idea. I’m a “tad” annoyed with my family, because they are afraid to get take out. They think they could get the virus from someone preparing food. I am not worried about that because places are very careful, especially pizza chains. I think it’s a must that people order take out to help keep the economy stimulated.

Sadly, what so many people don’t understand, or don’t want to accept, is that the economic downfall is going to be far worse than from the virus itself. The world cannot keep this up much longer. It will take us back to the days of the Great Depression of 1929 or even worse, if this continues much longer. And there were far more deaths, homeless people and other problems because of that than there will be from this virus. Sadly, it will take much longer for the global economies to recover than it will for us to recover from this virus. But, I have been told I “have my priorities askew” because I think this way.

We cannot order take-out but businesses are getting vital support from central government in France.

I don’t know but France has made significant assistance available. Remember, we pay much more tax in Europe than in US.
