A Jeanne in the Kitchen Meets YouTube

Well …… I did it.  ” A Jeanne in the Kitchen” has officially made a YouTube video.  It is still VERY raw , with a few gaffes and mistakes, but it is only my first video, but it is officially out there, for everyone to see.  The first one is always the hardest one to do.

You will actually get to meet me now.  I have never liked myself in pictures, and I really don’t like seeing me on video, but it was just kind of a natural evolution for “A Jeanne in the Kitchen”.  Man, I really look like a beached whale.  Both the video process and the chef herself are definitely works in progress.  For now, we are what we are.

Here is the link to “A Jeanne in the Kitchen’s” first ever YouTube video.

Hopefully, this is the first of many more to come.

Stay safe and stay well Everyone.  ‘Til next time.

  1. I think this has been a great first video! Easy and tasty recipe – a Jeanne classic. The camera man did his job well. You were slightly shy at the beginning but you quickly opened up as you were in your element of cooking. I liked all your explanation and added tidbits (i.e. canola oil). I’d just add the stove setting (medium-medium high). Again, a great first video. I’m scared to see how you will progress! And hello to your animals 😉

      1. I am not a teacher, but I write books for children that include recipes. The books are set in Chocolate Land where you can eat everything. The reason I post during holidays is because my sons do the filming and editing for me. They are to busy during the term time with studies and assignments. I do a lot of promoting of children’s books and baking and am always on the look out for good sites to follow. Anything simple works for kids like pancakes, French toast, cupcakes and the like.

    1. Thank you. I am already working on ideas for the next one, as well as some other ideas as well. I am trying to find someone who can design an apron for me. I have a concept in mind, but i am looking for someone to help me draw it out and make it a reality. Are you an artist by any chance?
