I have created this site to help people have fun in the kitchen. I write about enjoying life both in and out of my kitchen. Life is short! Make the most of it and enjoy!
Las Floras de Cozumel – 4
There are so many flowers or floras found all over Cozumel. I had to capture as many of them as I could with my camera. I love sharing them with all of you as well. These are bougainvillea. They are so brightly colored and come in a wide array of colors too. We had a huge bougainvillea tree in my backyard where I grew up. They are found anywhere tropical.
I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

Sorry I’ve been missing in action, dear Jeanne – Jewish holidays take a lot of time, as well as navigating between holidays and work.
I love bougainvillea; in fact, when we were looking for a condo, I fell in love with this quaint little house because the fence wasn’t even visible, covered with bougainvillea.
Well, two of my cousins have it. It’s their history as well of course. Other than that, I guess I’ll have to work on it. Thank you for suggesting it, darling. π»

No worries. I get it. Life happens. I still have not purchased your book yet, for the similar reasons. I too have been very busy.
Bougainvillea is so pretty, in all its colors. π

It’s not my book, darling; it’s my son’s book, and mine is only one story in it. π»

That’s OK. it is still your family and the history and recipes from your family. π

True, and it was first published in Russian, and then my son translated it into English and included in his anthology.

Of Course. Anything to help. I just have to make sure I get my copy before they all run out. π
