Trigger warning! Trigger Warning! Trigger warning!
It happened! I NEVER in my wildest dreams would have ever thought it could have happened here in my kitchen. But it did. I RAN OUT OF GARLIC!!!!!! At first I didn’t think much of it because I though I had more downstairs. But when I went downstairs to get it, panic set in. There wasn’t any! Fortunately, I had just barely enough to use for what I was cooking at the time, but just barely.
We had to make an “emergency” trip to Costco to get some more. This has never happened in my house before. I stocked up to ensure it never happens again. I should be OK for awhile, although I am still a bit traumatized from this whole ordeal. I think I just need to open one of the garlic jars and take in a few large whiffs, and then I will be OK. Phew!!!!! That was a close one; too close for comfort. 🙂

I knew it!! I knew it was going to happen! Glad you went and bought two!! Now every time you go you should pick one up!!😂💙 Remember how I always told you that you made me nervous showing those very low jars of garlic?? Nough said!!😂😂💜

My husband is Italian and I think he would melt away if there wasn’t garlic in the house. I should say he is garlic with 1/4 Italian in him.

Like Susan, I, too, always notice your low levels of garlic in the jar. Glad you could remedy the situation before it was too late.
Keep a couple of bulbs, too?

I thought I’d run out the other day too, but upon digging in my fridge I found half a head of it. It literally gave me anxiety thinking I didn’t have any. (I may use too much garlic…lol.)

I often do. Our house is so warm it usually starts growing fairly quickly.

Interesting. It gets rubbery, molds faster and sprouts in the fridge. But I guess if your house is that hot…

It can, but as far as sprouting, it happens more often for me when I’ve kept it out. I never have trouble with it in the fridge because I go through it fairly quickly. Thanks for your input though.

As you now know, I go through A LOT of garlic in my house, so it never goes to waste, unless it is going to MY waist. 🙂
