I am so flattered that so many of you think that I have a beautiful garden with all of these bright, colorful flowers. But sadly no. None of them are mine. I inherited my mother’s “black thumb” when it comes to gardening. They are just beautiful flowers I see on my walks. These are the last of the last for this summer. The fall colors and touches are now coming in, replacing the summer blooms. They are just as beautiful, just beauty of a different kind, for a different season.

Have a beautiful, safe and happy holiday weekend. ‘Til next time.
You just βborrowβ flower gardens to have your own!

A green thumb is definitely not hereditary, because if it were, I would be an expert gardener. Both my parents were world-class gardeners, and they made it look so easy! I didn’t find out until I tried it myself how challenging it could be. But through the process of trial and error I have learned which flowers are easy to grow (aka hard to kill) and give good results even for someone with minimal aptitude. π

No. Just the opposite. My mother killed everything she ever planted. I am not quite that bad, but close. These were just beautiful flowers I see from my walks. π Thank you.

Oh I misundestood. So when she went shopping for flowers to plant, she asked the plant “you want come home with me to die?”. But you do take great photos.

They are very pretty, but they are fading out. Fall is close now. π
