Nature Walks – Flying In For The Holidays
My lakes are filling up with a lot of Canadians these days; Canadian Geese that is. They are flying in for the holidays, getting ready for their long, seasonal stay. I got some good shots of them flying in.
Coming in for the landing.
And settling in for the winter.
The water is just right. Come on in.
Come stay for awhile. Enjoy the scenery. Have a great day. đ
I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

Itâs wonderful that you have so many feathered visitors
Thank you for welcoming our Canadian geese. They were a couple to three weeks late leaving us due to an extended El NiĂąo autumn but we always anticipate their return as harbingers of Spring đđđЎ
Thank you. I am looking into publishing a little book, especially for our community, since so many of my shots are from around our lakes. We’ll see. I just started looking into yesterday.

A male pheasant that showed up in the yard today, haven’t seen one in ages.
