21 Years Ago Today

Today, Larry and I are celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. Twenty-one years ago today, we said I do. He took the day off work, and we are going to fill the day with odd and end things that are fun to do.

Us, over the years.

We have done a lot over the years, and we’re just getting started. There is so much left to do. Here’s to another 21. πŸ™‚

I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

      1. Hi Jeanne. I’m hanging in there. I’ve been dealing with problems with dizziness lately. I’ve had it before but it’s been along time since it was this bad. As a result I fell 2 1/2 weeks ago going into the grocery store. Very, very fortunately, I did not break anything! Just very bruised and sore. Now we’re trying to figure out the cause of the dizziness. I do have an outer ear infection in both ears, like swimmer’s ear, but I don’t put my head in the water as you know 😁 I’m going to PT Tues so they can check whether it is the crystals in my ear.

We went to SC in early August to see our Granddaughters, their Mom, 1 husband, 1 boyfriend, and our Great Grandson. It just happened to be during hurricane Debby. It rained a lot and there was some flooding in some areas. We stayed with our oldest granddaughter Courtney and her husband Austin. Most of them were off work due to the flooding. The good thing was we got to spend a lot of time together. We finally made it to the beach on Friday. We celebrated our great Grandson BjΓΆrn’s 3rd birthday on Saturday and also went to Charleston for dinner to celebrate his Dad’s birthday.

It’s back in the 100’s this week. We had about 1 week of 90’s and high 80’s otherwise it’s been over 100 since May. I like that we can still get in the pool. I can’t do water aerobics anymore due to my back and bone on bone in right knee, etc. but I do pool walking and get on the noodle, so that’s something.

I hope you’re doing well. I love seeing your recipes and hearing about your adventures!

        Keep in touch,

        Beth ❀

      2. I am sorry to hear about your vertigo problems. I hope it gets better soon. At least you are staying active. That’s a good thing. Other than the hurricane, it sounds like you had a good visit with your family. πŸ™‚
