The blooming cacti are the last of my mountain flowers. They came in bright yellow, bright pink and deep red, and everything in between. They are beautiful but dangerous at the same time. You can look, but definitely don’t touch.

Every rose has its thorn, or in this case, every cactus has its thorn. Everything has both a soft and beautiful side as well as a prickly side.
Have a great day and make everyday great. ‘Til next time.
The succulents always have such beautiful flowers. Thank you for sharing, Jeanne.

I just have to ask. How come you can’t touch the flowers if you are careful not to touch the spikes?

I suppose you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I guess it’s just a lesson I learned a long time ago, and it is reinforced every time I interact with nature or go scuba diving – look, but don’t touch. When diving we learned that a lot of things in the water are either dangerous, poisonous or harmful, so don’t touch anything. š
