This is Weird!!!!!

Usually when I post something on my blog, I also post it to FB and to LinkedIn as well. When I tried to do that this morning, my WHOLE FB page was gone. EVERYTHING! POOF! Just gone. Like I was never there. I have never been happy with FB anyway, and I think it is evil and cruel and extremely corrupt, but I never thought they would just take down my whole page, especially with NO warning or anything. Just gone! Has anyone else had problems like this? Maybe it’s a sign to get off of it once and for all. the only reason I stayed on it for as long as I have was for my blog anyway.

  1. I’m having trouble with WordPress, not posting when I want things to post. As for facebook…my posts haven’t posted there since last September. My Holly’s World page is still there, but nothing shows up there. I could copy links over to my “normal” page, but I haven’t felt like it since my last two stints in FB jail. It could be a sign…

      1. I’m actually kind of surprised I haven’t gotten in trouble again, on FB. I’ve been free since January 23, or something like that, and hardly a notice. I don’t get it, and it is very frustrating.

      3. I was wondering…I’ve been “jailed” three times since September – twice for posting flowers, once for posting bubbles. They said it violated their terms on sexual content and nudity. Someone told me that “real” things offended them…maybe that’s what happened to you. Although, you got no explanation, right?

      4. None whatsoever, though I had a picture of a baby dolphin inside its mother’s womb taken down too. You might be right about the real things being offensive. I am back on now, but now, I have NO desire to be on it. Mr. Zuckerberg can shove it where the sun don’t shine.

  5. I don’t have a FB page, so I don’t know what’s up with that Jeanne. I’d probably take it as a sign and get off it permanently.

    I got an email from WP the other day about them having issues with things not posting to Twitter and they are working on options. Not sure if posting it there ever did anything for my blog, so I’m wondering how much I care about the social media aspect…

  10. Facebook uses bots to determine whether to suspend someone or not. The problem is that the bots are not smart despite their “artificial intelligence”. On FB I write beer reviews and I am a member of several groups dedicated to beer reviews. I have been suspended a number of times for trying to sell beer without a license and without a price. However, I never sold anything. A few years ago I was able to get those reversed by complaining and I received an apology after a person, a live human, looked at it and saw I was not selling anything. However, now there is no recourse, because all humans are gone. It’s just dumb bots left to handle that.
