Taking A Small Break Today
My apologies. Nothing to share today due to a lot of issues with my eyes as of late. I should be back to normal later. I had to see the eye surgeon this morning and my eyes are still having difficulty focusing, so reading and writing is a bit challenging at the moment.

I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. Thank you. I found out in December that I have cataracts in both eyes, and I met with the eye surgeon this morning. They did all kinds of tests and dilated my eyes. They are still trying to focus. I have to go back in on Friday and they are going to give me more details of what needs to be done. They say I am a good candidate for laser surgery.
Thank you. He said I am a good candidate for laser treatment. Once the cataracts are removed, all should be fine. There are still a few more hoops to go through before having the procedures done though.
Thank you. The stuff they put in my eyes has gone away for the most part, and I am able to see much better than I was earlier. All I can say is, getting old sucks!

He numbed my eyes and dilated them, and they were funky all morning. I have to go back again on Friday. We are figuring out what to do next and then I will have the cataracts removed.
You’re looking super cute! My mom had surgery for cataracts last summer and she said it’s helped so much with her sight. I hope you get some answers soon!

I had cataract surgery last summer and can’t recommend it highly enough. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

Good luck with surgery, darling. They’ll put artificial lenses in, and you’ll have 20.20 vision for the rest of your life.
