Nature Walks – Say’s Phoebe

We have so many beautiful birds out and about these days, and I love it. I just can’t help taking as many pictures as I can of all the birds we have here. We have such a great variety. Today, I am sharing some pictures of a Say’s Phoebe.

    1. Thank you. A lot of birds are known by different names in different parts. I am on a bird photography website on FB and I posted some pictures and called them what my Colorado bird books called them, and there were quite a few people who were arguing about the names of the birds. I snapped back that I can only call them by the names that I see them referenced as.

      1. Oh no! Didnโ€™t know people did that. This bird is not a Tufted Titmouse, though their shape is similar. Tufted Titmouse has what looks almost like a pointy hat. The head feathers stick up. They are beautiful birds, just like the ones you shared. Similar colors. Love Colorado, by the way. Hope you have a nice day.

      2. I am only on FB, and the only reason I am still on that is because of my blog. if I were to leave it, I would literally loose 1/2 of my followers, if not more. It is definitely a double-edged sword though.
