Nature Walks – Egrets and Friends
We had all kinds of stuff going on at the ponds today. The egrets were busy making friends on the first pond. One was having a very lively conversation with Mr. Mallard, and then later they were hanging out on the log with Mr. Snapper.
I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

I watched a turtle eat breakfast along along the bank. It’s amazing how they can stay underwater for awhile. 🐢💦

They can stay underwater for about 30 minutes, or at least the larger ones can. They are pretty amazing. 🙂
