It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas – 14
WE HAVE SNOW!!!!!! At long last, the white stuff is falling from the skies above. This is our FIRST snow of the season. It is not a lot, but hey, I’ll take it! To me, there is always something magical about the first snow of the season. I just love it.
I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

I know. But I’ve found the older I get, the colder I like the weather. I can’t take the heat any more like I used to. Plus growing up in SoCal, we never got the changing of the seasons, and I LOVE the changing of the seasons.
I’m with you. I feel blessed to live where there are four seasons. I would find it soul-crushingly monotonous to live anywhere that didn’t have all four.
It’s almost ski season! We got a bunch of snow up here yesterday, over a foot of it, but it’s going to melt over the weekend. I hope some of it stays on the ski hills so they open early this year 😊

Our mountains got a lot of snow, but not down here. It has already melted. 😦

I can not say I get as excited about snow as this, but there is a bit of magic in it. And hey, if it has to be winter, why not bring on the snow.
