Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you beautiful ladies out there.  It doesn’t matter if you have kids or your kids are all grown up.  It doesn’t matter if your kids have fur or feathers or scales or tails.  If there is someone in your life who loves you and depends on you, you are their mom.

I do not have the 2-legged version of kids.  My kids all have fur and tails.

My mom passed away 14 years ago, but she is still with me everyday, watching down over me.  Every time I see butterflies and/or irises, she is stopping by for a visit.  I miss you and love you Mom.  My mom, Evelyn, and I when I was about 2 years old.

Happy Mother’s Day Ladies.  Stay well and stay safe.

    1. Thank you. No. She was a HORRIBLE cook! She burned everything. I think that’s why I learned how at such an early age. I am looking for a picture of when i was helping to cook when I was about 3 years old, but I haven’t found it yet.

  1. Happy Mother’s Day!
I think you put it nicely regarding those that love and depend on you…
And your kitties remind me of two that I used to know. Same colors. It’s uncanny. Brings me back to some good ‘ol days.

  2. Aww, your kitties and dogs are so cute! Great pics of your Mom. You were a cutie! We’re finally getting some take out food today. I’m on lock down with my folks, and finally they’ve agreed to get curbside take out for Mother’s Day. She already had a home made brunch so no sense cooking twice. 🙂

    1. Thank you. We think so too, but believe me, they can be pills too.

I hope your mom had a good Mother’s Day and that you enjoyed your lunch.

We are still on lockdown too, but as of today, they are supposed to ease up on some of the restrictions. We’ll see. One can only hope. 🙂
