Well, October 2018 is certainly shaping up well for me and “A Jeanne in the Kitchen”, at ajeanneinthekitchen.com. I have been nominated for another blogger recognition award, this time, it is The Versatile Blogger Award. My blogger friend who nominated me was Bushra’s Lifestyle Blog
I love Bushra’s Lifestyle blog. She always has some very good ideas and is always so positive. Thank you so much. Once again, I am honored.
Share 7 facts about me:
- I love all things about food. I love to plan the menu; I love to shop for the food; I love to cook the food; and I love to entertain.
- I grew up in Southern California, and was the quintessential California beach bum until I moved to Colorado. Now, I would never even think of moving back to California.
- I am an avid scuba diver and rescue diver. My husband and I travel all over the world in search of the best dive locations.
- When I am not cooking or in the kitchen, I live in the water, whether it be scuba diving or swimming, or teaching my H2O classes. I am also a swim coach for young swimmers from 6-10 years old.
- My babies are my fur babies. I have two great big Saint Bernards and two cats.
- I am very adventurous, and love to try everything.
- Family and friends are very important to me. They are my everything.
There are so many wonderful bloggers out there, it is hard to only be able to recognize 15. But I will try.

What is it about CO that makes you want to not move to CA?

Well, there are a lot of things. The California I grew up in is no longer. It has changed so radically that I do not even recognize it anymore. Every time I go back out to visit, I like it less and less. It is so expensive too. I have been in Colorado almost 19 years. it is changing too, but as much as California has. I do miss my ocean, but I LOVE the changing of the seasons. he people seem to be more down to earth and real too. California is full of fakes and phonies.

That is what I imagined to hear. But then again, I’ve never been to CA, or CO, so can’t say. Your arguments make total sense.
