Nature Walks – Posing Prairie Dogs
We have prairie dogs by the millions all around us. Some people consider them pesty, but I think they are super cute and full of personality, especially when they pose for the camera.
There is always something interesting to see, you just have to be open to seeing what’s all around you. Have a great day and make everyday great.
I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 35 years. I attended 2 culinary schools in Southern California, and have a degree in culinary arts from the Southern California School of Culinary Arts, as well as a few other degrees in other areas. I love to cook and I love to feed people.

Saint Bernards and Prairie Dogs are my favorte pets…or family members. Prairie dogs are super intelligent and have a language that’s more advanced than any other animal language that’s been decoded by humans….smart and stubborn…I guess that is why l like Saints and prairie dogs….they are also not afraid of anything…one of the reasons they don’t live a long life in the wild but so long in captivity.
I know you have to miss them. We have had three and I still miss our other two…. the prairie dog and the Saint get along well…the Saint puts up with him taking a swipe at her nose when she bends down to sniff him….and is very protective.
Similar but not rge same as our marmottes.

Yes. I think the marmottes are a little bigger. π

Not sure about that but they’re live cousins 5-times removed.

We saw marmottes in Canada and they were a little bigger than our prairie dogs, so at least the Canadian version is a little bigger. π

I like that. I too like smart and stubborn. I had a dream the other night that we got two Saint puppies. I miss our Saints.

I think we will always missed our loved ones once they are gone.
